I was all excited when I got the email, then I read the fine print:

Cost of transaction is $0.01 per mile (includes applicable taxes) plus a $35 transaction fee. Minimum transfer 5,000 miles per account.
(Each recipient is limited to a total of 15,000 miles per calendar year from all individuals under the Mileage Plus Transfer Miles program.)

So, it will only cost you $85 to give me 5,000 of your miles. Yeah, like that will ever happen.
